Please note at the bottom of the spreadsheet you will see 3 tabs:

Tab 1: Contacts and post codes for all schools that have entered the competition.

Tab 2: Fixtures for all schools for the Cup competition. Please note the following rules at the top of the pages and the deadline dates in red that must be adhered to. Any school struggling to fulfil their fixture should contact the committee via MCSFAcompetitions@gmail.com for support.

The winning school is responsible for typing the result into the blue boxes next to each schools name.

Both schools are responsible for making contact to arrange the fixture

Tab 3: The draw for the plate competition. All schools knocked out in the round of 32 of the ‘Cup’ competition will then enter the plate competition to give students a 2nd opportunity.

Frequently Asked Questions

My school has been drawn at home but doesn’t have a pitch.

You can either make use of the pitch at another local school; hire an artificial pitch from a local sports centre or alternatively play the game at the oppositions school if they have a pitch.

Are girls allowed to play in this competition.

Yes. There are no limits on boys / girls in this competition.

I have contacted the opposition and had no reply. What should I do?

You should contact them again and copy MCSFA in via MCSFAcompetitions@gmail.com. You should also try contacting by ringing the school in case your e-mail has gone into their spam box etc. Being prepared and making contact early allows plenty of time for the game to be played in case of any issues.

My school has won – what now?

You should enter both schools scores into the fixture spreadsheet via the link above and make contact with the opposition in the next round. Failing to submit your score before the deadline may mean your school is knocked out of the competition by coin-toss if MCSFA is unaware of the result by the deadline date.

My school has lost – what now?

If you have played in the round of 32 in the Cup competition, the losing school will be entered into the plate competition on the red tab along with all other round of 32 losers.
